About Us

My Story

My dog career started in Junior Showmanship in the early 1980s with English Cocker Spaniels and then an Irish Setter. In the mid 1990s, I fell in love with the Australian Cattle Dog and purchased my first ranch bred blue heeler in Colorado.

Most of my dogs compete almost every weekend in either herding, conformation, obedience, Rally, agility, barn hunt, nose work, or dock diving.

In 2010, I entered my first herding trial. Since then, my dogs and I have earned nearly 100 High in Trial awards, numerous herding and conformation championships.

My foundation sire Maverick, is the first ACD to earn the AKC Rally Championship title (RACH), the only two-time ACDCA National Versatility winner, the first National Owner Handler Series best of breed winner, and the first GCH to earn the herding triple crown of arena championships (AKC, AHBA, ASCA).

I have also bred and trained ACD and Kelpie service dogs while managing the training facility here in Southern California.
